In 1991 Hennie Swartjes and Jan Brekelmans started organizing the annual big beachvolleyball tournament of Zoutelande. After 15 successful years with sunny tournaments with lots of teams and top players like Michel E-veraert, Rebekka Kadijk, Rini Boutens, Timko Lokerse, Thomas and Marijn Meijboom and many others, the Zou-telande Beachvolleyball Tournament became part of the Merencircuit of Freetime Promotion in 2006 en 2007.  Unfortunately, Freetime Promotion have decided not to organise the tournament at Zoutelande in 2009.

And because it is a pity there will be no beachvolleyball tournament on the nice beach of Zoutelande, we make a restart. So go to play beachvolleyball at Zoutelande on Saturday the 11th of July 2009!
